What is the difference between a roof light and a roof lantern?
A roof light sits flat or at a shallow pitch and follows the line of the roof. A roof lantern is a raised, pitched structure that stands proud of the roof, the style traditionally used on orangeries. Lanterns throw light further into the room and add height.
Can roof lights be opened?
Yes. Both fixed and opening options are available, so you can choose ventilation where it is useful and fixed units where it is not.
Will a roof light make the room colder?
